1-27-25   THOUGHTS

BEAUTIFUL SENSE!
I call Him Father...  Fear Him...  The Cost of Redemption... The power of the Resurrection...  Us, Believers...   Faith and Hope in God... obey the Purifying Truth...  LOVE- sincere, fervent, from the heart...  BORN AGAIN...  Imperishable, living enduring WORD OF GOD!
What a powerful summary!  Our lives in a nutshell.  This is sort of an  “IF”...  “THEN” passage area.  IF  you CALL Him FATHER...  THEN CONDUCT  yourselves...    The BLESSINGS of LIFE are in this reading...   IF!   We want to be  His children.   Forever is the perspective.

1Pet 1:17-23     If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth; 18  knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 19  but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. 20  For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you 21  who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. 22  Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, 23  for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.

My Prayer:
We proudly and lovingly call You Father.  Thank You for that privilege.  We see here in Your Spirit Words, all that You have done to give us eternal life.  Help us to absorb the powerful gift of grace and mercy and love coming from You.   Love in Jesus, how awesome.  Increase us as we seek to respond in kind,  as You have given.  May love, and praise and joyful fruit abound in us and in our fellowship.  May we always rejoice in You, our God.   In the name of Jesus, Amen.
